EMBRACING GOODBYE…Calls it quits

Our dear friends in EMBRACING GOODBYE have decided to bring things to and end.  This saddens us greatly here at H4C.  This was posted on their Facebook page…

“We never wanted this day to come, but with very heavy hearts and disappointment we have to announce that Embracing Goodbye is ending after 5 years & 3 albums. Words cannot express how much you all mean to us and how much we will miss all of you. We have been making music and playing shows for years and the only thing that kept us going were all of you. We feel its time to step away and pursue other things in our lives. We’ve given so much blood, sweat and tears to be who we are because we believe in something greater than us. This band has always been about hope and love for each other..most of all to show anyone and everyone that through CHRIST all things are possible.

We know that this news will be disappointing to a lot of people and there will be tons of questions as to why, just know that it was a decision made together. Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the years, bought our music, merch, came to our shows and loved what we do…you guys will never be forgotten in our hearts.”

We have 3 shows booked in july and we will be playing those.

Sorry it has been so long.  A lot has happened in my life in the last year and I’m just getting back to a place where I can focus on my love of all things metal.  There have been many awesome things (and not so awesome things) happening the scene in this year.  Here are some of the highlights…

LIVING SACRIFICE, DEMON HUNTER, THE SHOWDOWN, FOR TODAY, AS THEY SLEEP, UNDEROATH, ASCEND THE HILL, YOUR MEMORIAL, THE CHARIOT, HASTE THE DAY, AUGUST BURNS RED,  A PLEA FOR PURGING, IMPENDING DOOM, CORPUS CHRISTI, NORMA JEAN, MYCHILDREN MYBRIDE, I AM ALPHA & OMEGA, EMBRACING GOODBYE, TO SPEAK OF WOLVES, SENT BY RAVENS, AS I LAY DYING, WAR OF AGES and WRENCH IN THE WORKS…all released albums this year.  Some good, some bad, some so so.

HASTE THE DAY and WRENCH IN THE WORKS broke up…
